Maurizio Sarri reveals why Hazard and Jorginho started in BATE Borisov win over Cesc Fabregas

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has revealed why Cesc Fabregas was left out of his squad to face BATE Borisov in the Europa League.
With the Blues set to face Everton at Stamford Bridge at the weekend, the Italian named a surprisingly strong midfield and attack with Eden Hazard, Jorginho and Ross Barkley all included, alongside Pedro.
Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kante also made the trip and were picked to fill a bench that also included Ethan Ampadu, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian with Cesar Azpilicueta held in reserve in case of a defensive crisis in Belarus.Fabregas was expected in some quarters to replace one of Sarri's first-choice midfielders, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek getting the nod to start.
However, the Spaniard was ruled out due to illness.
"Jorginho will play only because Cesc Fabregas yesterday had fever so he wasn't available for this match," said Sarri before the game."So we need Jorginho in order to not change our way of football. Hazard [is starting] because in the last two weeks he has played only for thirty minutes and Willian played four matches in a row so it's better for Willian to rest and for Eden to play this evening."Sarri has wasted no time in changing the way Chelsea play since his arrival in the summer with Marco Silva having had a similar impact at Goodison Park.
The Portuguese has his side playing high up the pitch with intensity and their visit to Stamford Bridge promises to be a high-octane spectacle of attacking football come Sunday.
