Banky W joins politics, set to run for a seat in house of representatives

Pop singer, Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has declared his intention to contest for the Lagos State Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in House of Representatives on the platform of the Modern Democratic Party.
He made the declaration at the party’s convention on Saturday.
A tweet posted on the singer’s Twitter account read in part, “You see, my entire life has been a story of just dreaming dreams, praying about those dreams, setting goals, and working until they come true.Banky W Announces His Candidacy For House Of Reps.he said, I can live with trying and failing. I can not live with not trying.

Drogba, now 40 years old, decided to hang his boots after his team, Phoenix Rising, which he part-owned lost to Louisville City in the USL Cup final. It was the final of U.S. football’s second tier.
